wisdom & clean quirks
and share them
WE HAVE A
GERMOPHOBE ON
OUR TEAM
That's not our
germophobe, he's shy
too.. but that's pretty
much what he looks like
everywhere we take him. Photo Credit: Ryan

4. WASH BEFORE USE
The mugs, glasses and cutlery in the room aren't
usually taken away to be sanitised in a dishwasher.
They get quickly rinsed in your bathroom sink or just
brought to a shine using furniture polish. Yes, that
means, wash them yourself. Or bring your own if you
are going full terrified.
6. COVER UP
A lot of stuff gets on the
furniture, fecal bacteria is
the most abundant thing
found on a hotel sofa.
so yeah, cover up your
furniture if you want to
feel squeaky clean.
7. Toilet seat & Flush
Taps
Door handles
Telephone
Light Switches
Table Tops
Anything you touch or lay your
stuff on
Remember to sanitise
8. CHECK BEFORE USE
Hotel towels are used for all sorts of
things including mopping up toilet spills...
Always check the full towel in the light to
make sure you got a clean one. Don't be shy
about calling down for a new one if you
feel unsure about the quality. Or just carry
your own.
9. LOOK CLOSELYCheck the sheets before you slide in.. For Stains
& hair and bed bugs, if you're bothered by that
kind of thing.
Also quit lying on the unwashable parts like the
cover. Shoes, suitcases and tons of other things
have been on there.
10. THE DIRTIEST THING?
All manner of yucky has been found on remotes
including MRSA which is pretty worrying.
This is where plastic sandwich bags come in handy,
pack 'em for your travels and toss that remote in one
and seal it. the remote buttons stay visible and you
stay germ free.
