DOCTORAL LEVEL PROGRAMME – FPM
• EDII launched the ‘Fellow Programme in Management’ with emphasis on
entrepreneurship in year 2014.
• Course Objective
To groom potential scholars and make them competent and innovative
researchers and educators in various facets of entrepreneurship;
To encourage inter-disciplinary high calibre research studies in
entrepreneurship with policy implications;
To investigate synergy between theory and practice of entrepreneurship as
relevant to the Indian context; and accordingly strengthen entrepreneurship
education and research ecosystem in the country.
To fulfil the gaps in availability of indigenously trained educators, researchers
and resource persons in entrepreneurship at higher learning institutions in
India; and
To motivate scholars to take up theoretical and empirical research work leading

PGDM - BE
• Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship
• The PGDM–BE two-year, full-time, residential programme at the EDI.
• The course is offered through six trimesters over the two years period.
• Students are encouraged to bring their own business ideas with them to
the programme, along with a clear ambition and desire to take them
forward as an Enterprise Project.
• The methodology adopted at EDI varies according to various subject's
objectives and the skills, attitudes and behavioral patterns to be
fostered.
• Personalized mentor provided to each participant.

PGDM – DEVELOPMENT STUDIES
• The Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies is open to all
individuals who are either considering embarking on entrepreneurial
career pathway with social motives or would like to lead and contribute
the change in society.
• Vision: Empowering people with entrepreneurial mindset to create great
economic and social value
• Mission: To build a cadre of young professionals with knowledge,
critical perspectives, competencies and skill set by creating a
transformational learning environment which inspires, prepares, and
supports social entrepreneurial leaders and scholars to turn knowledge
into action in pursuing innovative solutions to world's most pressing
problems.
Course Architecture
• The programme spreads over six trimesters of 12-15 weeks each. The
content of the programme is designed in such a way that students get
exposure to various facets of development work.
• PREPARATORY INDUCTION MODULE- 3 WEEKS
• FIELD WORK SEGMENT – 4 WEEKS
• SUMMER INTERNSHIP – 8 WEEKS
• FIELD RESEARCH SEGMENT – 3 WEEK
OPEN LEARNING PROGRAMME IN
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
• The EDI, Ahmedabad has conceptualized and launched an innovative
Entrepreneurship Development Programme through distance learning
and personal counseling titled "Open Learning Programme in
Entrepreneurship".
• This course is sponsored by Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung (FNSt), a
foundation of International repute from Germany.
• The duration of the course is one year.
• The Course begins in the months of January, April, July & October,
every year.
• Learners can apply either online or can download application form from
the web site.
• Degree/Diploma holders in any discipline and those who are in the final
year of their degree, are eligible to join the course.
• Fee for this one year Open Learning Programme in Entrepreneurship is
Rs. 12,500/-+2250/- (18% GST) for all categories to be paid at the time
of registration.

Sessions
– One-to-one counseling throughout the course by "expert counselors"
and EDI faculty members

• The Award of the Certificate is based on assessment of the
assignments, project report submitted by the learner and performance in
the final examination.

PGDM - BE • Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship • The PGDM–BE two-year, full-time, residential programme at the EDI. • The course is offered through six trimesters over the two years period. • Students are encouraged to bring their own business ideas with them to the programme, along with a clear ambition and desire to take them forward as an Enterprise Project. • The methodology adopted at EDI varies according to various subject's objectives and the skills, attitudes and behavioral patterns to be fostered. • Personalized mentor provided to each participant. • Summer internship at the end of 1st year

OPEN LEARNING PROGRAMME IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP • The EDI, Ahmedabad has conceptualized and launched an innovative Entrepreneurship Development Programme through distance learning and personal counseling titled "Open Learning Programme in Entrepreneurship". • This course is sponsored by Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung (FNSt), a foundation of International repute from Germany. • The duration of the course is one year.
  • 25. • The Course begins in the months of January, April, July & October, every year. • Learners can apply either online or can download application form from the web site. • Degree/Diploma holders in any discipline and those who are in the final year of their degree, are eligible to join the course. • Fee for this one year Open Learning Programme in Entrepreneurship is Rs. 12,500/-+2250/- (18% GST) for all categories to be paid at the time of registration.
