Prior to Cleartrip Prasad was with Flipkart, leading its People function for Technology and Product organization, along with Total Rewards and Corporate Social Responsibilities. Before Flipkart he has steered people agenda in organizations like McAfee, 24/7 Customer, Ashok Leyland. He is an Engineer turned HR professional in pursuit of humanizing the workplace. Prasad believes that his purpose in life is ‘to contribute’ and is passionate about giving back to the community. He has lent another dimension to his purpose by founding GIVEPrakruti Eco Ventures – A community project that stands for building awareness on sustainability and enriched living. He is also the HR lead (Pro Bono) for CoronaSafe Network – An open-source disaster management platform built by tech volunteers in collaboration with Kerala government to tackle the current pandemic. On the personal front Prasad is married to HR professional Deepa Pinto and has 3 kids. They have been in Bangalore for 9+ years. Prasad is an outdoor person and you can say that for this man from South India he has made 5 trips to the northern most point of India Leh/Ladakh.
