3. Sensors in the cow
In the world of IoT, even the
cows will be connected and
monitored. Sensors are
implanted in the ears of
cattle. This allows farmers
to monitor cows’ health and
track their movements,
ensuring a healthier, more
plentiful supply of milk.
On average, each cow
generates about 200 MB
of information per year.
This information allows the
farmer to enhance milk
production, reduce birth risks
or monitor cow health status,
thus avoiding trips to the facility
in the small hours and,
therefore, saving precious time.

11. What is Digital
transformation
Digital transformation is the integration
of digital technology into all areas of a
business, fundamentally changing how
you operate and deliver value to
customers.
Digital transformation is the profound
transformation of business and
organizational activities, processes,
competencies and models to fully
leverage the changes and opportunities
of a mix of digital technologies and their
accelerating impact across society in a
strategic and prioritized way, with
present and future...
Digital Transformation has been a term that has
been tossed around, especially in the past few years.
Consumers and employees are interacting with
businesses in new ways forcing organizations to
rethink the way they use technology and data.
Digital Transformation is all about empowering your
employees, engaging your customers, optimizing
your operations and transforming your product
through systems of intelligence.
12. DX:Anewindustrialrevolution?
We are facing a new industrial
revolution, driven by a new
generation of information
technologies (the Internet of
Things or IoT,cloud, big data,
automation, robotics, AI and
even 3D printing.
All these elements will open new
horizons for the industry inviting it
to be more innovative and more
efficient.
Today, we stand at the beginning of
a transformation that will
fundamentally change our
economy and our society: the
Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is
the largest transformation in the
history of industry, and its power
and speed will eclipse all that has
gone before.
It is changing the way we
manufacture, communicate, learn,
work, and do business.
Digital transformation is the key for
Industrial Revolution 4.0
13. Big Data
It does NOT matter
how much data you
have if you can not
make sense of it
Big data is NOT magic.

15. The exponential growth of
technologies that accelerate each
other
The speed of technological
development means that transformative
change will come much sooner than
expected.
Big data and the near-endless amounts
of information undoubtedly
transformed AI to unprecedented
levels.
Blockchain technology and smart
contracts will merely continue the
trend.
The enormous increase in
computational power, the breakthrough
of “Internet of Things” applications
and the further development of smart
machines will only accelerate AI’s
development and global adoption.
The increasing acceleration of
innovation will add to AI’s ability to
adapt to new situations and solve
problems that currently seem to be
impossible.
19. Deep Learning
Deep learning (also
known
as deep structured
learning or
hierarchical learning)
is part of a broader
family of machine
learning methods
based on learning data
representations, as
opposed to task-specific
algorithms. Learning c
an be supervised, semi-
supervised or
unsupervised.
20. Deep
Learning
Artificial
intelligence is the
broader concept that
consists of everything
from Good Old-
Fashioned AI (GOFAI)
all the way to futuristic
technologies such
as deep learning. ...
The
narrow intelligence
AI machines can
perform specific tasks
very well, sometimes
better than humans —
though they are limited
in scope.
24. AI revenue by

maximum
investments
30. The digital transformation in
healthcare
3D Printing in Healthcare
A hospital in Jordan is trialing the use of
3D-printed prosthetic limbs to treat
refugees injured in the ongoing war in
Syria. Within 24 hours, and at a fraction
of the cost of conventional prostheses. The
trial appears to be a success story for the
practical use of 3D-printed prosthetic
limbs, and in a part of the world where the
need is greatest.

31. The digital transformation of the healthcare
industry
Big Data for Health
• The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT)
• Predictive Analytics for Improving
Healthcare Outcomes
• Patient Monitoring in Real Time
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the
network of physical objects—devices,
vehicles, buildings and other items
embedded with electronics, software,
sensors, and network connectivity—that
enables these objects to collect and
exchange data.
IoMT is the technology to connect the
medical devices to the healthcare IT
systems. The medical devices are
provided with WiFi which sends the
signals wirelessly.
