H2020: Innosup: Cluster-facilitated projects for new
industrial value chains
SUpport and PartnERship for the development of multiple sustainable and
market ready value chains in the BIO-based economy
Objective to build at least 10 new, cross sectorial and cross border value
chains, supporting a least 30 third party SMEs through providing innovation
support services with a total value of €1,800,000 (max €60,000 per SME)

• Value chains must be within the bioeconomy, either using
biological feedstock OR biotechnology.
• SuperBIO’s scope excludes pharmaceutical biotechnology and
food/feed production or agriculture as end-point.
• Value chains must consist of at least three cross-sectorial
stakeholders from at least 2 EU member states or H2020
associated countries.
• Services are only available to SMEs and will be funded at 75%
of cost.

Application &
eligibility
• To receive funding your must be a start-up/SME active in the bio-based
economy and either innovating through industrial biotechnology or
waste valorisation
• Applications need to align to the expertise and services offered by
partners.
• Applicants must be based in North West Europe.
• Funding rates are variable dependent on service, funding is state aid
applicable and will use De Minimas.
• Applications will be assessed on a monthly basis.
