SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BY FOLLOWING EXACTLY
THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
GIVEN, THE RISK OF ACCIDENT
INVOLVING THE VEHICLE IS
MINIMISED.
Motorised vehicles can be a source
of danger if maintenance and care is
neglected. Therefore there should
be sufficient maintenance facilities,
trained staff, and corresponding
guidelines should be available.
The following should be noted when
carrying out maintenance or repair
work:
1. Work should be carried out in
accordance with the check
maintenance plan, and with the
maintenance instructions.
2. Maintenance, repairs, tuning and
testing of the vehicle must be
carried out by qualified and
authorised personnel.

• Ensure the vehicle has been
brought to a standstill
• Ensure that the fork carriage / lift
structure is lowered
• Restore the tillerarm to the upper
brake area
• Turn off the key switch and
remove the key
• When parking on a slope or
gradient, lock the wheels.
4. Before working on a vehicle
• Raise drive wheel from ground,
activate the emergency shut off/
separate the battery plug
connection
• Secure the vehicle against rolling
away
• While working on mast´s or fork
carriages, block the inner mast
INSTRUCTIONS DE
SÉCURITÉ
En suivant exactement les
instructions de sécurités
données, les risques d’accident
IMPLIQUANT le véhicule sont
minimisés
Les véhicules motorisés peuvent
être une source de danger si
l’entretien et l’attention sont
négligés. Il doit y avoir les
installations d’entretien nécessaires,
un personnel formé et les indications
correspondantes mises à sa
disposition.
Les points suivants doivent être
respectés lors des révisions et des
réparations:
1. Le travail doit être effectué selon
le programme de test et
d’entretien, tout en suivant les
instructions d’entretien.
2. L’entretien, les réparations, le
réglage et le test du véhicule
doivent être effectués par un
personnel qualifié et autorisé.
3. Avant de garer le véhicule:
• S’assurer que le véhicule est
immobilisé
• S’assurer que le support de la
fourche est abaissé
• Ramener l’arbre en haut du
système de freinage
• Couper le contact et enlever les
clés
• Au moment de placer le véhicule
sur une rampe ou une pente,
bloquer les roues
4. Avant de travailler sur un
véhicule:
• Lever les roues motrices du sol,
enclencher l’interrupteur
d’urgence et déconnecter les
fiches de batterie

Lubricants
Only high quality lubricants and oils are
to be used. These can be obtained
from all oil companies.Typical kinds are
named below, where all equivalent
lubricants can be used.
With cold store trucks
low temperature hydraulic oil,
lubricating oil and grease must be
used. All screws, washers, nuts, pins,
safety rings etc must be protected from
rust with substance 078882-002. The
maintenance intervals should be
shortened so that the moving parts do
not suffer excessive wear and tear.
Lubrifiants
Seuls les lubrifiants et huiles de haute
qualité doivent être utilisés. Ils peuvent
être obtenus auprès de tout fabriquant
d’huile. Les grandes catégories pour
lesquelles des lubrifiants équivalent
peuvent être utilisés sont citées ci-
dessous.
Pour les véhicules utilisés dans les
dépôts réfrigérants, l’huile lubrifiante
et la graisse de basse température
doivent être utilisées. Toutes les vis,
écrous, essieus, bagues de sureté etc
doivent être protégés de la rouille avec
la substance 07882-002. Les
intervalles entre chaque entretien
doivent être rapprochés pour que les
pièces mobiles ne subissent pas
d’usure excessive.
Schmiermittel
Es sind nur hochwertige Schmiermit-
tel und Öle zu verwenden. Diese Mit-
tel sind bei allen Ölgesellschaften er-
hältlich. Angegeben sind typische Sor-
ten, wobei alle gleichwertigen Schmier-
mittel verwendet werden können.
Bei Kühlhausfahrzeugen
muß Tieftemperatur-Hydrauliköl, -
Schmieröl und -Schmierfett verwendet
werden. Alle Schrauben, Scheiben,
Muttern, Stifte, Sicherungsringe usw.
müssen mit Rostschutzmittel 078882-
002 versehen werden. Die Wartungs-
intervalle sind so zu verkürzen daß es
nicht zu übermäßigem Verschleiß der
beweglichen Teile kommt.

Der folgende Prüf- und Wartungsplan
bezieht sich auf einen Einschichtein-

Häufigkeit der Wartungsarbeiten ist
jedoch an die vorherrschenden Bedin-

staubigen oder harten Einsatz-

PROGRAMME DE
VÉRIFICATION ET
D’ENTRETIEN
Le programme de vérification et
d’entretien suivant concerne l’ajout
d’une seule pièce de rechange dans
des conditions normales. La fréquence
des travaux d’entretien doit être
adaptée de manière à répondre aux
conditions qui prévalent. Dans des
conditions de saleté extrême ou
utilisation difficile y compris l’utilisation
dans des dépôts réfrigérants, les
intervalles entre visites doivent être
réduits. Une décision doit être prise en
accord avec un technicien d’entretien
Crown ou un employé qualifié. Pendant
l’execution du travail d’entretien, des
tests de routine concernant l’état
d’usure, la corrosion, les dégâts, le
fonctionnement et la fiabilité des pièces
doivent être effectués. En cas de doute
les pièces doivent être remplacées.
Tout entretien approfondi doit toujours
anticiper le prochain entretien
d’éventuels réparations mineures.
CERTIFICAT D’ENTRETIEN

L’entretien effectué de façon experte
sur une base journalière dans la
période stipulée doit être confirmé sur
