Use Case: Cross-Departmental Incident
An HR team is using Jira Work Management to
accomplish a company-wide initiative, but become
blocked by an outage on a Mobile App. They report
an incident through Jira Service Management.
Meanwhile, OpsGenie has alerted the on-call
response team about failures on the Mobile
Service. Jira Service Management change records
reveal that the Mobile Dev team released a new
version last Friday at 5pm. They escalate to L4
Mobile Support: developers on the Mobile Dev team
working in Jira Software. After rolling back to
restore service, everyone involved conducts a
retrospective in Confluence.
ITSM and Enterprise Agility are both about
