When God picked symbols to represent nations, he didn’t pick them ar-

symbols that would be meaningful to the people who would live at the time of the
prophecy’s fulfillment. let’s examine the description of each symbol carefully.

tHe Lion
daniel 7:4,

“The first was like a lion, and had

symbol is the lion. in Webster’s Third

“lion”, it states that the lion is the symbol of a country, Great britain. on trafal-

south, the east and the west. it is common to see britain referred to as the lion in
news articles and in political cartoons.

27, 1980 and on May 21, 1984, a picture of a bear was used to represent the na-

was used on the front cover to symbolize russia. this prophecy, written 2,500
years ago, is unerringly being fulfilled now!

“after the british lion, the russian bear.” it is absolutely amazing to see sym-
bols, chosen by God 2,500 years ago to represent nations that would be on earth
at the time of his second coming, being used by major secular news media to
symbolize those nations today!

In the previous article, we have seen that the united states was supernaturally

to what the future holds for America?

scripture. But they are used in a different way. In Daniel 7, the four beasts depict
four individual nations. In Revelation 13, the Apostle John saw a vision of one
beast instead of four. The one beast was described as having the body of the leopard, the feet
of the bear, the mouth of the lion, and the ten horns of the ten-horned beast. This conglom-
