Routing Table will consist of IPv6 Address and  smaller routing table entry.  No MAC address to IP mapping is required  resulting in router performing faster and more  Efficient. Layer 2 switches will be obsolete or will have  to run dual stack.  Layer 3 switches will experience faster  packet processing .
