remains a major objective
Even as IT budgets have
risen, cost reduction is
the most frequently cited
business priority for Swiss
CIOs: 54% call it a priority in
Switzerland – greater than
anywhere else in the world.

years, with 53% of Swiss CIOs
reporting a budget increase –
higher than in 2013 and 2014
and higher than the global
average for 2015...

The survey results reveal three patterns of the CIO:
Trusted Operators, Change Instigators and Business
Co-creators. Most Swiss CIOs today fall into the
‘Trusted Operator’ category. Consistent with the
picture of Swiss CIOs as a group being more
operationally focused than their international peers.
