Win. Grow. SocialSalesMap.®
2. Register Now
1. Go to www.socialsalesmap.com
2. Click on «Register Now»
3. Fill in registration form
4. Read and agree to the subscription
agreement
5. Click «Register»
Done. You will receive an eMail
confirmation.
3. Activate Your Account
Once your personal account is being
created, you will receive an eMail.
1. Just follow the activation link
2. Login with your Username and
Password
Done. Enjoy working with
SocialSalesMap®.
Tip: At login, use the «Forgot Your Password?»
function to receive a new password by eMail.
4. Manage Your Maps
By default, a first map has been created
for you.
1. To access a list of all available
maps, click «map» in main
menu, then «open»
2. To create a different map, click
«new»
Tip: Check for available sample maps to learn from.
5. Visualize Your Network
Select any object on the map to edit
related information.
1. Objects of the same company are
characterized by identical colour
2. Teams are represented as larger
circles
3. Contacts are represented by small
circles and a personal name or
function shortcut, i.e. CEO
Tip: To move teams or contacts, left-click and hold.
6. Build your Map
There are 3 options to add
companies, teams, contacts and/or
relationships to your map.
1. Just click on the buttons to the left
2. Right-click on any map object to see
a list of available functions.
3. In the main menu, go to «insert»
Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the main
menu.
7. Enter Relationships
Complete your network by adding
relevant relationships.
1. Click «insert relationship»
2. Mouseover another team or contact
3. Click to establish connection
4. Set relationship type and intensity on
the folder to the right
Tip: You can also hold «shift» key and click on any
object to insert a new relationship.
8. Assess Your Network
Once your sales network is built, you can
start to assess it.
1. Set the influence level of each
contact in the «contact» folder.
2. Estimate the pro/contra position of
your contacts.
3. Click «Refresh SSI» button to re-
calculate the overall importance
(SSI=SocialSalesIndex).
Tip: The SSI rank sorts all contacts by level of
importance
9. Analyze Your Network
1. In the main menu, go to «view» and
click «Matrix»
2. Mouseover any contact for her name
and role
3. If needed, update influence/position
level in the «contact» folder to the
right
Tip: Use the company checkbox to the left to filter
the contacts.
10. Manage Actions
Now it’s time to define the best sales
strategy and action plan.
1. Go to «Insert» on the main menu
and click «action»
2. Or right click on a team or contact
3. Edit status and due date on the
«action» folder to the right
4. To see a list of all actions, go to the
«Actions» view in main menu
Tip: To see the number of open actions directly on
the map, activate the «action» layer.
11. Collaborate
You can collaborate with collegues and
partners on Your SocialSalesMap®.
1. Go to «User» in the main menu,
click «Manage»
2. In the pop-up, click on «invite»
3. Simply enter the eMail-address and
click «OK»
Done. The invitee will get access to the
specific map.
Tip: Don’t forget to invite your partners as well.
12. Congratulations
You have just created your first map.
1. Play with contact and tree «view» to
get a different perspective
2. Activate map «Layer», to also see
influence, position, importance,
names or roles directly on the map
3. Use «Tools» to further enhance your
experience
Tip: Maximize the value of your map by regularly
reviewing and updating it with your team.
