About Insurance Data Processing (IDP)

Probably the longest tenured insurance technology company in the
world (except for IBM)

Exclusively serving property and casualty (P & C) insurance
companies for 62 years

Deep insurance expertise and intellectual property

New CEO started 1 year go - Bob Blitshtein, most recently head of
architecture at AIG’s Chartis Unit ($50 billion annual premium)

Began the work to turn IDP into a game changer

Currently serving and supporting the operations of 26 insurance
carriers

Expecting to rapidly grow to 100+ customers (enabled to recently
created agility)

Why am I here today?

IDP developed an entirely and exclusively IBM Technology Stack
based Universal System Architecture (USA) to enable all of our
product/application development

Because our USA makes possible the rapid development and
deployment of state of the art, enterprise grade Web 2.0, SOA,
BPM and Rules based applications that also integrate with
existing and/or legacy assets

Because IDP was able to deliver to the market place 4 state of the art
products in 4 months

Because IDP is able to leverage its USA (without any modifications)
to expand its product offering to 9 products across multiple
channels (e.g. mobile) and countries

