On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Plant Protection Research Institute Fifth
International conference about "SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT, THE
AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND THE CHALLENGES OF PLANT PROTECTION" On
3-6 May 2015 in Cairo, Egypt
We are inviting you to participating and sharing your experience. We feel that your
attendance at this meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to interact with the different
scientists, teachers, and researchers from throughout European and American countries.
As an individual, I am interested in entomology and related disciplines; I realize how it is
important to establish lines of communication with others that have the similar interesting. We
offer you the opportunity for professional development, to become recognized by your
colleagues, and to share knowledge, expertise, and experience with other members
Conference will be held Under the Auspices of His Excellency Dr. Adel El-
Beltagy the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
Objectives of the Conference:
1. Promote research activities and educational and extension relating to pests,
and provide information based on scientific grounds for both the public and
private sectors, and enhance perceptions and awareness of pests and their
effects on ecosystems and natural cultivated
2. Provide an opportunity for scientists and workers in agricultural
production, to update information on production, propagation, prevention,
marketing, and manufacturing.
3. Exchange of experiences among the participants in the conference from
Egypt and all countries of the world.

2. 4. Give the chance to view Applied Researches in plant protection fields and
the scientific innovations and creations on a global level.
Conference themes
1. Use of modern technologies for the management and crop protection
2. Develop the skills of post-harvest and preserve the safety of agricultural
products.
3. Expansion of education programs and evaluate strains resistant plant or
tolerant to infection of pests and diseases
4. Development of joint efforts and research many disciplines in order to
increase the knowledge of the dimensions of Problems crop management and
increase production
5. Monitoring the role of genetic engineering in the production of crops and
abundant productive and safe for consumption and are valid for the local
market and export and protection of plant products during storage in order to
raise the efficiency of export
6. Correct understanding of the relationship between pest and crop
7. Assessment strategies multiple standards for pest control
8. Pest management in organic agriculture systems
9. Maximize the benefit of the efforts of researchers in different disciplines
and linking them with each other in integrated teams and to maximize the
role of research and extension teams and field schools.
10. Use the integrated management of pest control programs in good storage
commensurate with the requirements of the global and local markets and
international conventions.

February 1st 2015: deadline for submission of abstracts
March 1st 2015 notification of accepted oral presentations and posters
April 1 st 2015: deadline for submission the full papers
May 3-6, 2015: PPRI international conference
Language of the Conference
Arabic and English are the languages of the conference.

The registration fees:
$300 with one paper publication or poster
$100 for each another paper

3. $150 without paper publication (Attendance)
The registration fees will be paid on site.
All participants, including those who wish to present a paper, should
complete the enclosed registration form and return it to the Conference
Secretariat.
The registration fee covers participation in all sessions, conference materials
including the proceeding book, morning and afternoon coffee and lunch.
