GENERAL INFORMATION
Casa del Nino Montessori School is now on its
32nd year of operation. The school is licensed by
the Department of Education and is a family-
owned corporation also known as The Casa del
Nino Schools System Incorporated (CDNSSI).
CDNSSI was founded by Rosario Gangan Acierto
Ed.D in 1981 and continuous to be the school
President at present.
Currently the school has 9 branches serving the
cities of San Pedro, Binan, Sta. Rosa and
Calamba as well Ilagan City and the town of
Roxas in the province of Isabela.
THE ADMINISTRATION
 The administration is responsible for:
 Delivering the programs and services to
the students as well as implementing the
long range plans for the school and
carrying out the policies directed by the
Casa del Nino School Board.
THE EDUCATION STAFF
 The education staff is responsible for:
 Implementing classroom
instruction, activities and
programs, monitoring and reporting on
the progress of individual students and
maintaining good professional
relationship with the parents.

Requirements
 Keeping your personnel file up to date
can be important to you with regard to
pay, deductions, benefits, and other
matters. Please be sure to notify the
office as soon as possible if you have a
change in any of the following items:
legal name, home address, e-mail
address, telephone number/mobile
number, marital status, person to
contact in case of emergency.
COMPENSATION
Wage and Salary Policy
 Salaries are calculated on an individual
basis based on position, education, years
of experience and performance.
 The amount is agreed to by both the
employee and the school and is a
permanent part of the employee’s
Employment Contract.
COMPENSATION
 Salaries are reviewed annually and will
be modified or updated each year based
on above mentioned considerations and
number of enrollment.
 All employees are required to time clock
in and out each day.
COMPENSATION
 All employees are paid every 15th and 30th of
each month. If either of those days falls on a
Saturday, you get paid on a Friday but if it falls
on a Sunday, and then you get paid on a
Monday.
 For Lead Teachers, Class Advisers and
Special Teachers, the last pay of the school
year will not be issued until all student reports
have been submitted and classrooms have
been cleaned and inspected by your
immediate supervisor and your clearance have
been signed by the school authorities.
IMPORTANT:
 Personnel issues such as salary is
considered a private matter between the
employee and the employer therefore
discussion of such matter is strictly
prohibited and is considered grounds for
dismissal.

comply with school policy.
 Dress appropriately and maintain a good
appearance.

stay organized.

 Be willing to serve at all times.
 Use neither rough nor excessive
affection nor physical handling of
children or students.
 Exemplify grace and courtesy to the
children/students. You are the example.

 Respect the dignity of the student and
others on the staff.
 Have a lot of patience, understanding
and sense of humor.
 Avoid domination.
 Help plan and communicate with other
staff members on a daily, weekly, and
monthly basis.

 Have a passion for teaching.
 Call well ahead of time if you are sick.
 Plan interesting things to do inside the
classroom.

 Make sure that the environment you
work (classroom, faculty room etc) is
maintained at all times.
 Return borrowed materials (like
LCD, CD player, paper cutter, etc.) to
the office or their proper place after use.
 Make suggestions that will make the
school a better place for children and
students to learn.

  • 5. GENERAL INFORMATION Casa del Nino Montessori School is now on its 32nd year of operation. The school is licensed by the Department of Education and is a family- owned corporation also known as The Casa del Nino Schools System Incorporated (CDNSSI). CDNSSI was founded by Rosario Gangan Acierto Ed.D in 1981 and continuous to be the school President at present. Currently the school has 9 branches serving the cities of San Pedro, Binan, Sta. Rosa and Calamba as well Ilagan City and the town of Roxas in the province of Isabela.
  • 6. THE ADMINISTRATION  The administration is responsible for:  Delivering the programs and services to the students as well as implementing the long range plans for the school and carrying out the policies directed by the Casa del Nino School Board.
  • 7. THE EDUCATION STAFF  The education staff is responsible for:  Implementing classroom instruction, activities and programs, monitoring and reporting on the progress of individual students and maintaining good professional relationship with the parents.
  • 8. What you can expect from CASA  Provide you with a decent working environment so that we will continue to be known as a “great place to work.”  Train and develop competent teachers and staff who understand and meet our objectives in line with our Mission and Vision.  Respect individual rights and treat all employees with courtesy and consideration.  Maintain a mutual respect in our working relationship.  Select people on the basis of skill, training, ability, attitude and character without regard to age, sex, color, race, creed, religious and political affiliation, marital status, or disability that does not prohibit performance of essential job function.
  • 9. What CASA expects from you:  Your first responsibility is to know your own duties and how important your duties are to the total operation of the school.
  • 10. What CASA expects from you:  Secondly, you are expected to cooperate with the Administration and your fellow employees or co-teachers and maintain a good team attitude.
  • 11. What CASA expects from you:  Whatever your position, you have an important assignment: perform every task assigned or expected of you to the very best of your ability.
  • 12. Code of Ethics  Use proper channels and chains of command.  Discuss confidential information only with authorized persons.  Adhere to the terms of our Faculty Manual and MRPS  Refrain from gossip, derogatory remark, criticism, “grapevine” communication, and judgment of fellow teachers, students and administration.
  • 13. Code of Ethics  Respect the positions of the other persons on the staff with the school.  Be aware of personal appearance and be neatly and appropriately dressed.  Refrain from discussing the deficiencies of students in a way that would be embarrassing to the child , the parent or the school  Practice patience, perseverance and calmness
  • 14. Administrative Requirements Your Personnel file (201 File)  All employees are required the following documents on file:  Birth Certificate  Medical Certificate  Transcript Of Records and other certificates received  Photocopy of Diploma

  • 17. Administrative Requirements  Keeping your personnel file up to date can be important to you with regard to pay, deductions, benefits, and other matters. Please be sure to notify the office as soon as possible if you have a change in any of the following items: legal name, home address, e-mail address, telephone number/mobile number, marital status, person to contact in case of emergency.
  • 18. COMPENSATION Wage and Salary Policy  Salaries are calculated on an individual basis based on position, education, years of experience and performance.  The amount is agreed to by both the employee and the school and is a permanent part of the employee’s Employment Contract.
  • 19. COMPENSATION  Salaries are reviewed annually and will be modified or updated each year based on above mentioned considerations and number of enrollment.  All employees are required to time clock in and out each day.
  • 20. COMPENSATION  All employees are paid every 15th and 30th of each month. If either of those days falls on a Saturday, you get paid on a Friday but if it falls on a Sunday, and then you get paid on a Monday.  For Lead Teachers, Class Advisers and Special Teachers, the last pay of the school year will not be issued until all student reports have been submitted and classrooms have been cleaned and inspected by your immediate supervisor and your clearance have been signed by the school authorities.
  • 21. IMPORTANT:  Personnel issues such as salary is considered a private matter between the employee and the employer therefore discussion of such matter is strictly prohibited and is considered grounds for dismissal.
  • 22. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Be a part of a team – have a positive and cooperative attitude  Show self-respect and treat others as you would want to be treated.  Be punctual, dependable and willing to comply with school policy.  Dress appropriately and maintain a good appearance.
  • 23. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Smile, be happy, love children, and make it fun!  Follow proper lines of communication.  Be in good health and emotionally stable.  Have a sense of order and be able to stay organized.
  • 24. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Be willing to serve at all times.  Use neither rough nor excessive affection nor physical handling of children or students.  Exemplify grace and courtesy to the children/students. You are the example.
  • 25. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Respect the dignity of the student and others on the staff.  Have a lot of patience, understanding and sense of humor.  Avoid domination.  Help plan and communicate with other staff members on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • 26. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Like to work with children.  Have a passion for teaching.  Call well ahead of time if you are sick.  Plan interesting things to do inside the classroom.
  • 27. Qualities of a CASAN Team Member  Make sure that the environment you work (classroom, faculty room etc) is maintained at all times.  Return borrowed materials (like LCD, CD player, paper cutter, etc.) to the office or their proper place after use.  Make suggestions that will make the school a better place for children and students to learn.
