Employee Involvement Employee Involvement is one approach to improving quality and productivity. Employee Involvement is not a replacement for management nor is it the final word in quality improvement.
Training Make everyone aware of what the training is all about. Get acceptance Trainees must feel that the training will be value to them. Adapt the program. Adapt to what has been agreed upon.
Suggestion System Be progressive by regularly asking employees for suggestions. Remove fear  by focusing on the process and not on the person. Simplify the process so it is easy to participate. Respond quickly to suggestions and within a specific period of time. Reward the idea with published recognition so that everyone knows the value of the contribution.
Recognition and Reward Recognition is a form of employee motivation in which the organization publicly acknowledges the positive contributions an individual or team has made to the success of the organization. Reward is something tangible such as theater tickets, dinner for two, or a cash award to promote desirable behavior.
Gainsharing A financial reward and recognition system that results from improved organizational performance. A measurement of organizational productivity and a method to share productivity gains.

  • 2. Employee Involvement Employee Involvement is one approach to improving quality and productivity. Employee Involvement is not a replacement for management nor is it the final word in quality improvement.

Respond quickly to suggestions and within a specific period of time. Reward the idea with published recognition so that everyone knows the value of the contribution.

Recognition and Reward Recognition is a form of employee motivation in which the organization publicly acknowledges the positive contributions an individual or team has made to the success of the organization. Reward is something tangible such as theater tickets, dinner for two, or a cash award to promote desirable behavior.
  • 6. Gainsharing A financial reward and recognition system that results from improved organizational performance. A measurement of organizational productivity and a method to share productivity gains.
