2. IN THE NAME OF ALLAH,
MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.
“O you who have attained to faith! Be conscious of Allah
(TAQWA) with all the consciousness that is due to Him,
and do not allow death to overtake you ere you have
surrendered yourselves unto Him (MUSLIMUN).”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran: 3: 102)

4. The Messenger of Allah s.a.a.w. was asked as to
what causes many people to enter Paradise, and he said :
“(Their having) TAQWA (consciousness and fear) of Allah)
and (their having) excellent AKHLAQ (disposition).
And when asked what causes many people to enter Hell,
He said: “(Sins of the) Mouth and the Faraj (sexual organs)”

6. “Be conscious of Allah (TAQWA) wherever you may be,
and follow-up whatever misdeeds you may have
committed (as reparation) by doing (more) righteous
deeds (for these) shall efface them (the negative effect
of these misdeeds), and interact with people in the best
manner of disposition (i.e. adopt a noble character).”

10. “And hold fast, all together, unto the bond with Allah, and do
not draw apart from one another. And remember the
blessings which Allah has bestowed upon you: how, when you
were enemies, He brought your hearts together, so that
through His blessing you became brethren; ...”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran: 3: 103)

11. “The Muslim is as a brother to other Muslim. So do not be unjust to him,
nor to humiliate him nor to neglect providing help to him.
It is enough to be regard as evil, one who despise another Muslim.
Every blood, property and honour of a Muslim is sacred.”

15. “ .... and [remember also how, when] you were on the brink
of a fiery abyss. He saved you from it. In this way Allah makes
clear His messages unto you, so that you might find
guidance,”

16. “ ... and that there might grow out of you a community [of
people] who invite unto all that is good, and enjoin the
doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is
wrong: and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy
state!,”

18. “Continue to enjoin towards good and forbid the doing of
evil (and wrong). If you do not do these, Allah will place as
leaders over you the most wicked people amongst you,
and then the supplication (DU’A) of even the best amongst
you will not be responded by Allah.”

20. “When my community (ummah) glorify worldly matters
then the honour of Islam will be removed from them;
and when they ceased the work of calling to good and
forbidding wrong, then they will not get blessings
(goodness) of the Revelation (Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah).

21. “And be not like those who have drawn apart from one
another and have taken to conflicting views after all
evidence of the truth has come unto them: for these it is
for whom tremendous suffering is in store”

22. “The (Muslim) believer is a mirror to the other believer,
whenever he sees any ‘AIB (shortcomings or defects that
may bring shame) in his brother, he will help him to ISLAH
(reform - by showing and helping him to overcome)”

24. “The best ones amongst you is the person who makes you
remember Allah when you look upon him; and whenever
he speaks it increases you your knowledge (of the Deen),
and with his deeds it inspires (motivates) you to strive for
your Hereafter.”

28. "Our Lord! Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will) and of our
progeny a people Muslim bowing to Thy (Will) and show us our
places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in
Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning Most-Merciful.

29. “Our Lord ! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to
our eyes, and cause us to be foremost amongst those who are
conscious of Thee! (as ‘mut-taqqin’).”

31. “Our Lord ! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; Our
Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on
those before us : Our Lord ! Lay not on us a burden greater
than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, And grant
us forgiveness, Have Mercy on us. You are our protector :
Help us against the unbelievers.”
(Qur’an : al-Baqarah : 286)

32. "Our Lord! pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm;
Help us against those that reject faith."

have guided us; and bestow upon us the gift of Thy Grace

into the Faith and leave not in our hearts, rancour (or sense of
