إِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ اِنْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ ، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ يَقَبْضِ أَهْلِهِ ،  حَتَّى إِذَا لَمْ يَبْقَ عَالِمًا اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُؤُوسًا جُهَّالاً ، إَذَا سُءِلُوْا أَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمِ ، فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوْا "Verily Allah does not remove knowledge from the (hearts of ) men , rather he takes away knowledge by taking away its people (the scholars), until there are no more scholars, the people then take leaders that are ignorant, and when they are asked, and give  fatwas  (they give) without knowledge, so they misguide and are misguided.“ ( Hadith reported by Ashaab as-Sunnan from Ibnu ‘Umar r.a .) Reforming or purification of the Self (Nafs) Best behaviour in relationship with Allah,  within oneself, and with others. Knowledge of Self and of Allah (Gnosis)     What is the Effect ? Development of Most noble personality traits Founded on Love of Allah, of all His prophets [ Nabiyyin ]  especially the Seal of Prophethood Muhammad s.a.w.,  his Household [ itrah  or  Ahlul-bayti  wa Aali -Rasul ] and loyal Companions [As haab] ,  In fellowship with the Truthful [ siddiqqin ], the Witnesses & martyrs [ shuhada ] and the  Righteous servants of Allah [ Solihin ]; Striving to purify the Self ( Nafs ) and  adorning it with the Exalted Moral traits of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَأ إِّلاَ مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْم “ Limitless is Your Glory (O Allah):  of knowledge we have none,  save what Thou hast taught us:  in truth it is Thou who art perfect  in knowledge and wisdom."  AllRightsReserved©Zhulkeflee2010
رَبَّنَا أنْفَعْنَا بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنَا رَبِّ عَلِّمْنَا الَّذِي يَنْفَعُنَا  رَبِّ فَقِّهْنَا وَفَقِّهْ أَهْلَنَا وَقَرَابَاتٍ لَنَا فِي دِيْنِنَا  مَعَ أَهْلِ الْقُطْرِ أُنْثَ وَذَكَرَ  O our Lord!  Make us to benefit from what ever You have taught us . O Lord!  Teach us  whatever that is beneficial for us. O Lord!  Grant upon us profound understanding,  (also grant the same upon) our family members. And also to those in the Faith who are close to us ,  Amongst fellow citizens, the female and the  male. اللَهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ رِضَاكَ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَ نَعُوْذُبِكَ  مِنْ سَخَتِكَ وَالنَّارِ رَبَّنَا ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلأَخِرَةِ  حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ  O our Lord! O Allah! We ask that You be pleased with us  and (grant us) the Paradise, and we seek refuge (in You)  from Your wrath and the Hell-fire. O our Lord!   • 16. إِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ اِنْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ ، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ يَقَبْضِ أَهْلِهِ ، حَتَّى إِذَا لَمْ يَبْقَ عَالِمًا اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُؤُوسًا جُهَّالاً ، إَذَا سُءِلُوْا أَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمِ ، فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوْا "Verily Allah does not remove knowledge from the (hearts of ) men , rather he takes away knowledge by taking away its people (the scholars), until there are no more scholars, the people then take leaders that are ignorant, and when they are asked, and give fatwas (they give) without knowledge, so they misguide and are misguided.“ ( Hadith reported by Ashaab as-Sunnan from Ibnu ‘Umar r.a .)   • 56. اللَهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ رِضَاكَ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَ نَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ سَخَتِكَ وَالنَّارِ رَبَّنَا ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ O our Lord! O Allah! We ask that You be pleased with us and (grant us) the Paradise, and we seek refuge (in You) from Your wrath and the Hell-fire. O our Lord!
