A “Yolanda veteran” who served and played a key role in the humanitarian assistance projects to help typhoon survivors rise from the ruins of the Super Typhoon in devastated areas of the Visayas. A DRR practitioner, trainer, disaster manager, rescuer, firefighter, community organizer, researcher, communication specialist and coalition builder who learned the ABCs of DRR, advocacy, media work, networking, lobbying, community organizing and program management the hard way not inside a safe and sound university classroom but in the grassroots working with vulnerable communities, schools, workplaces, faith groups, businesses, LGUs, government agencies, local CSOs and INGOs.
