3. The typical blog… A typical blog is composed mostly of text and links within several posts or blog entries. However, this blog might evolve and offer other types of media.
4. The PhotoBlog A photoblog is a blog which is mostly composed of photos and pictures taken by the blogger. Each blog post or blog entry could contain a single photo or a collection of photos where the blogger might add a title or caption.
5. The AudioBlog An audioblog is more commonly called a podcast. It is composed of voice recordings of the blogger (or podcaster) with sound effects or background music. The term podcast is taken from Apple’s iPod – iPod + audio cast = podcast. Podcast are commonly in MP3 format and can be played on any media player.
6. The VideoBlog A videoblog or vidcast is a series of videos published on the web and distributed thru an RSS feed. The blogger or producer makes the script, takes the videos and edit them before publishing. This makes video blogging the most complicated to create among all the other blogs.
7. MicroBlog A microblog is much like a regular blog but is restricted to a few characters or words at a time (typically 140 characters). Microblogs are easily updated via different devices, most especially via a mobile phone.
