  1. Needs may be temporary eg glue ear, asthma, severe allergies, emotional/behavioural difficulties. Eg sensory impairment blind, deaf, physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties. Some children have multiple disabilities . In the UK the number of children with severe disabilities is increasing, partly due to advances in medicine. You will have all taught children with special needs, you just might not know it. Children good at hiding disabilties. If you can’t see what the teacher is writing you have to use other method, eg guessing what the teaqcher is writing , copying from friends. You will miss a lot but if you are clever teachers never notice. It just means that some veru bright children nevber reach ntheir potential.
