1. PRESENT SIMPLE
Afirmativa: sujeto + verbo (s) + complementos
Negativa: sujeto + don’t /doesn’t + verbo + comple
Interrogat: do/ does + sujeto + verbo + comple?
USOS:
1.- Se usa para hablar de cosas que ocurren habitualmente:
- I go to school everyday
- They don’t watch TV on Saturdays
- Do you have a car?
2.- Para hablar de cosas que siempre son verdad:
- London is the capital of England
- The sun isn’t green
- Is Madrid a big town?
3.- Para hablar de lo que nos gusta, opiniones, sentimientos:
- I like football
- She doesn’t love Peter
- Do you hate maths?
ADVERVIOS DE FRECUENCIA:
- Los adverbios de frecuencia son unas palabras que nos dicen con qué frecuencia ocurre algo; por
lo tanto van con el present simple.
- Se colocan delante del verbo (no del auxiliar) pero detrás del verbo To be.
Always (siempre) I always go to school
Usually (normalmente) She doesn’t usually drink coffee.
Often (con frecuencia) Do they often visit their grandmother?
Sometimes (algunas veces) You are sometimes very sad
Hardly ever (casi nunca) They hardly ever see their mother
Never (nunca) We never fight (we don’t never fight)
- Hay otros adverbios que también indican presente simple y se colocan al final de la
frase:
Everyday/ week… (todos los días / semanas…)
On Sundays /Tuesdays.. (los domingos…)
Once a week (una vez a la semana)
Twice a year (dos veces al año)
Three times an hour (tres veces a la hora)
FORMACION DE 3ª PERSONA SINGULAR:
- La 3ª p.singular siempre acaba en “s” (You walk – She walks)
- Si el verbo acaba en ss,sh,ch,x,o, se le añade “es”
You kiss – she kisses You fix – she fixes
You go/do – she goes/does You wash – she washes
You watch – she watches
- Si el verbo acaba en V+Y, solo añadimos “s” (you play – she plays)
- Si el verbo acaba en C + Y: (you fly – She flyes)
