(1) From October 2013 to October 2014, Research Fellow, School of Civil & Envi-
ronmental Engineering and Institute of Catastrophe Risk Management (ICRM),
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
❖ Model flood risk in Jakarta, Indonesia using HEC models and Telemac 2D,
evaluate inundation level exceedance probabilities and map flood using
ArcGIS under different changing scenarios, including different levees,
dikes, reservoirs, terrain as well as hydrological changes arising from ur-
banization. and investigate the uncertainties and complexities coupling
with climate change and urbanization.
❖ Model the spatial and temporal rainfall based on the observed rain gauges
and rainfall data to estimate the future rainfall and get the design rain-
fall for Jakarta. Calculate the areal reduction factor (ARF) for Jarkarta
and analyse the rainfall data.
❖ Dynamic flow simulation of Singapore tunnel sewerage system to check if
the water due to heavy rain make the trees flooded under different heavy
rains.
