A small artist named Rehman alias Baba, who acted as villain in films like “Vikramarkudu” was arrested for an
attack on Mohammed Fayaz on March 16.
Humayun Nagar police station had registered a case against the 34-year-old artiste, who had stabbed Fayaz to
take revenge. Rahman, who was staying as a tenant at the house of the victim’s relative was having previous
enmity with Fayaz regarding vacating the house and he had allegedly outraged the modesty of Fayaz’s sister-in-
law earlier, the police said
Fayaz family members had beaten up Abdul Rahman when the latter tried to molest his sister-in-law Salma
Nawaz caused multiple injuries to Rahman for his indecent act.
