Canon PowerShot S95 Here is
my review of
The Best pocket digital camera I
ever owned!
Choosing to upgrade my camera to the
Canon PowerShot S95 is the best
decision I could have possibly made
when I was looking for a new pocket
camera. Including some fantastic features
such as being a truly pocketable camera,
and having easy to use controls and
excellent quality of images, this was
definitely a worthwhile upgrade from my
previous Canon camera.
The feel of this camera is wonderful, not
like some of the other Canon's that have
been criticized for being "slippery" to
hold. This one features a textured
surface, allowing for very easy handling.

2. I love that it is a point and shoot type
camera, that actually takes fantastic low
light pictures.
This camera features a great image
stabilizing system, nearly eliminating the
blurriness sometimes found in close up
images, especially those taken in lower
light. Changing the camera settings is
accomplished fairly easily, without the
need to go into a lot of different screens
to make selections.
There is a ring that is used to control the
zoom or shutter speed, and it can also be
used to manually focus. I love that this
camera can go from full auto to full
manual, letting the user have the option
of which method they want to use for
their pictures.
Another fantastic feature of the Canon
PowerShot S95 is the ability to shoot
720p HD video, with a great level of
quality, and it even includes stereo
sound. Watching the video you've just
made is rewarding when you see the
clarity of the images and listen to the
great sound quality. It really surprised me
that such clear video came from such a
compact camera.
I love that it features an outstanding
image stabilization feature, usually only
found in much more expensive camera's.
It stops those close up pictures from
coming out blurry, and lets you easily
take clear and steady shots, even in
situations where other camera's would
produce a blurry image.
This camera can even be used to take
wide angle or panoramic shots,
something not usually found in a camera

3. small enough to truly fit in your pocket.
And it has a 10.0 Megapixel capability,
helping to produce clearer pictures, and
a 28 mm lens great for wide angle
pictures. The color on the pictures taken
by this camera is amazing as well. It is
true color, not washed out looking like
you sometimes get when taking pictures
with other camera's.
The Canon PowerShot S95 really is a
great little camera, with many of the
features previously only found in a much
larger, harder to carry around camera.
Truly portable and pocket size, I love
being able to take it anywhere, and can
always rely on it to take wonderful
pictures.
