2. • Whole experience was different than usual
shopping/browsing
• I never “see” the store, clerks or other
customers -> too occupied with finding the
thing I need/want or to catch what’s new
3. Environment was the biggest surprise!
What’s going on in the store? How is it
designed? Is there music?
- > I prefer darker places
- > lot of places have dark tone of a shop (dark
walls, floor)
- > each store has its own music (or no music)
- > no security
4. Hidden Opportunities
• Instead of putting bags on high shells that no
one can reach, design a new kind of stand and
use higher places for another purpose i.e.
adds and other things that cannot be bought
• Put in bigger stores (visited by couples)
benches (so partner can sit & relax while
his/her better half is shopping)
