• Nolan Amy, he is the CEO and founder
• He built and developed the first version of
plickers in 2008.
What does the tool do?
• Plickers is a powerfully simple tool that
lets teachers colllect real-time formative
assess ment data without the need for
studdent devices.
How much money does it cost to use the
tool?
• It's free.
Give a list of instructions to expain to
someone how to use the tool.
• download the apps.
• Printing the cards.
• Scanning the cards.
1. Before you scan, make sure that you've created a
question. From the question screen, select the
camera icon at the bottom (ios) or at the top (Andoid).
2. Hold your moblie device vertically in portait mode
to scan your student's cards.
3. Notice that Plikers will display how many students'
reponses you've captured and wich students you do
not have data for, use this information to rescan
different areas of the class until you've gotten all
students' responses!
Why would this tool be useful in a
classroom?
• It can helo teachers to know whether you students
are understanding big concepts and mastering key
skills very quick.
Explain how YOU would use this tool to
educate students:
• First, I will download this App and know well about
how to use it. Then, I will teach my students how to
use it. I will guide all of my students engage in
learning and give all students the chance to
participate without feeling self-conscious.
