DISPOSAL OF LEARNING RESOURCES
a.The School Supply Officer/designated Property
Custodian shall make a report on learning resources
to be disposed of and submit this to the Division
Office for appropriate action.
b.Disposal of learning resources may be done once
the Disposal Committee of Division Office and Local
Commission on Audit have completed inspection of
the condemnable learning resources and when all
documents related thereto are acknowledged and
signed.

c. Disposal may be done in the following
modes: shredding and cutting, burying, or
donating to communities and barangays with
reading programs.
d. The School Supply Officer/designated
Property Custodian must ensure that the
learning resources that have been disposed of

is based on the following:
• Has been rendered unnecessary due to
change in the agency’s functions/mandate.
• Has become dangerous or hazardous to use
• Has become obsolete
