This document provides guidelines for writing a case report as part of a DNP course assignment. Students are asked to write a 2,500-3,000 word case report applying at least two theories discussed in the course to a clinical problem or situation. The case report should include an introduction with problem statement, literature review, description of the case from a theoretical perspective, discussion of literature findings, summary, proposed solutions from a theoretical approach, and identification of a research instrument to evaluate the proposed solution.
