2. Review – Forms of writing
Boats sail on the rivers,
And ships sail on the seas;
But clouds that sail across the sky
Are prettier than these.
There are bridges on the rivers,
As pretty as you please;
But the bow that bridges heaven,
And overtops the trees,
And builds a road from earth to sky,
Is prettier far than these.
The Rainbow—Christina Rossetti
3. Review – Forms of Writing
Dear Mom and Dad,
Can I go to Grandma’s house this summer? If you
say yes, I will clean my room every week. I will eat all
my vegetables and clear my plate from the table.
Just think about the nice, quiet week you will
have at home. You can relax and not worry about
trying to get me to go to bed.
So you see, this will be good for all of us. I will
have fun at Grandma’s. You will have some quiet
time.
Love,
Alex
