We are a preclinical histopathology CRO specialized in resin
histopathology for medical devices that are either fully implanted or
partially inserted into the body. We also offer general histology and
immunohistochemistry services (GLP and non-GLP).

Resin Histology: Medical Device & Bone
- Soft and hard tissues, implanted medical devices, and bone.
- Custom protocols.
- Imaging and data analysis.
- Work with a variety of resins to best match the material/device:
- Methyl Methacrylate (MMA)

- Spurr's Epoxy

Imaging & Analysis
- Digital microscopy imaging.
- Digital whole slide scanning: high-resolution imaging
permits real-time zoom for regions of interest.
- Staining quantification: semi-automated IHC quantification permits
data acquisition of area scored, total positive pixels, average positive
pixels, total staining intensity, and average staining intensity, all of
which are separated amongst weakly and strongly stained.



Imaging & Analysis
- Pathological scoring/analysis: our Pathologists work with you to
determine an appropriate scoring criteria.
- Report generation: quantified data can be collated into a
presentation-ready report or PowerPoint presentation, while images
can be professionally edited for publication-ready submission.



Our Pathologists
- U.S. board certified Pathologists with 35 + years experience in
Veterinary Pathology and Toxicologic Pathology.
- Experienced in Pathology reporting for NDA filing.
- Pathological scoring/analysis: our Pathologists work with you to
determine an appropriate scoring criteria.
- Report generation: quantified data can be collated into a
presentation-ready report or PowerPoint presentation, while images
can be professionally edited for publication-ready submission.



General Histology (Discovery, Preclinical, GLP)
- Paraffin and frozen services - grossing, processing, embedding,
sectioning , and slide staining (H&E and special stains).
- GLP histopathology for preclinical toxicology studies.
- Full Pathology reporting (GLP and non GLP).
- Digital microscopy imaging, digital whole slide scanning, staining
quantification, Pathological scoring/analysis, report generation.



Immunohistochemistry Expertise
- Background literature research and sourcing of optimal antibodies

In-House Tissue Bank
- Collection of tissues from multiple species including mouse, rat, pig,
rabbit, and monkey.
- Identify proteins of interest in multiple tissues on a single slide for a
truly macroscopic view of protein distribution, and a complete
antibody cross-reactivity profile.
