2. In order to attract my audience to my magazine i knew that i
would have to use a variation of skill and features to entice
them. firstly i used a formal casual language when talking
about things in certain articles, i thought i would have needed
to do this because i wanted to get certain information across
to the reader without boring them and drawing away the
younger and aspiring artists but i also didnât think that informal
language would suit my magazine because I was not trying to
appeal to a younger rebalance audience . i also thought that
it might have dulled the message that I was trying to get
across to the audience as well and make it seem less
informative and interesting to the reader.
3. As for the font that i used on my magazine pages i wanted an
understandable modern font that will be easy to read and
look aesthetically pleasing so for the reader also needed it to
look informative. I went with century gothic for the contents
page and double page spread I used it in two different colours
I used it in white and red I used the colour red because it
would stand out against the black and grey background that
it was placed on and white text to inform and to hold all of the
actual information. as for the title on the front cover i went with
a white text outlined with a black border to stand out as much
as possible. when i was creating my product i came out with
the text out lined and none out lined i asked around and 80%
of the people preferred it with the black out line so i stuck with
that.
4. As for the images in my magazine that i took where as a top
quality and looked as nice as they could with the camera that
i had but I felt that the backgrounds of some of them stood out
too much do i decided to bring them into Photoshop to edit
and tweak, i decided to blur out the background and add
more lighting to the image i added more lighting to brighten
up the image because the lighting that i used last time did not
do the coefficient job that i wish it did. i also took the
composition of the images into consideration for example on
the contents page i wanted an image of one of the drums but
i thought it felt a little bland so to attract my audience more i
added to the composition by moving drum sticks into the
image and that gave the image an overall better look.
