This document discusses the need for customer centric networks and how Telefonica is approaching this goal. It makes three key points:
1. Current networks were designed for specific uses like voice and data but are now used very differently with video consumption being a top use. Future networks need flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs.
2. Telefonica aims to create unique experiences for each customer through software-defined networks that can adapt the network fabric and services based on individual context and usage.
3. Telefonica is developing open, disaggregated infrastructure and platforms to more quickly integrate new services and deliver them to the network edge for lower latency experiences tailored to customers.
