gardening and landscaping experience.
Main duties would include learning from and working alongside experienced colleagues carrying out
planting, turfing, fencing, flagging, brickwork, site clearance, pruning, grass cutting, hedge cutting,
weeding and much more.
You will work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm) and will earn a minimum of £2.68
per hour. Hours will vary depending on workload.
Training will be provided in the workplace where you will work towards an Intermediate
Apprenticeship in Horticulture – Landscaping.

rental companies, we have an unrivalled range of equipment and tools. So there’s a huge variety you
can work on during this three-year Apprenticeship Scheme.
The Scheme combines ‘block release’ training at Reaseheath College, a specialist facility in Cheshire,
with on-the-job training in a service centre near your home. You’ll usually attend college for four
weeks out of every twelve. However, you’ll receive travel expenses, accommodation, food and lots
of support whilst you’re there.
The rest of the time, you’ll be a key member of one of our Service Centre teams. Carrying out
supervised services, maintenance and repairs, you’ll keep our equipment in great condition.
Needless to say, as there are so many types of equipment, you’ll have to be adaptable, as well as
have a keen interest in engineering and mechanics. A friendly, helpful nature is important too.
In return, we’ll give you all the training and support you need to develop a skilled trade. We’ll give
you an industry leading salary which increases each year of the apprenticeship, 23 holidays per year
(excluding Bank Holidays) and annual incentives, including driving lesson vouchers, when you
successfully complete your first year.
You can apply for the Scheme any time between March and June, but you must be ready to start by
the time the college course starts in September.
