2. History of the school
10.03.1931 State Grammar School was founded with 31 students.
02.12.1972 began teaching at the current school. There were 16 classes with a
number of 176 students.
01.01.1997 The school got CERTIFICATION T and became a member of the
National Network of Health Promoting Schools.
3. Today
September 2, 2014 the gates of our school were opened again. The school
year at our primary school was opened by the President of the Slovak Republic
Mr. Andrej Kiska.
The school is involved in the project "Digitalization of education and
innovative methods in education".
The school has 26 classes and 353 students and 33 teachers.
4. At school are various leisure activities. I
lead those activities: workshops with my
students, we create the various products
and spend free time together.
6. The school organizes different actions for students:
Carnival, building snowmen, sporting competitions -
volleyball, hockey, dodgeball, badminton, various tours
and excursions.
