Schedule of First Review
The First Review for the Final year students of B.Tech. (Regular) Mechanical Engineering is scheduled
on 16.2.2010. The student’s projects will be reviewed in four parallel sessions as per the schedule given below.
In order to ensure quality project work, project review committees have been formed comprising an External
Examiner, an Internal Examiner and the respective project Guide. So, all the internal examiners and project
guides are requested to cooperate for the successful first project review. Also the students are instructed to
prepare well for the first review with the full satisfaction of guides concerned.

Note for the students:
Three copies of Project Report (not more than 10 pages – without any plastic folders, only stapled
papers that adheres the format of project report) duly signed by the guide, have to be submitted to the
committee during the review meeting. The project will be strictly evaluated by the respective
committee. Each student shall submit the project report individually.
The duration for the presentation will be 15 minutes. (10 minutes for PPT presentation and 5 minutes
for discussion).
This first review will be assessed for 20 marks of the internal. The content of the project report should
focus on the contribution of the individual student. The expected information for the review are: Title
of project work, Problem definition, Literature review, and Progress of the work
