4. Unzip the wordpress using:

5. tar -xzvf wordpress2.8.6.tar.gz

6. Create the database for wordpress.

7. Rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php.

9. Run the WordPress installation script by accessing wp-admin/install.php in our favorite web browser.

11. Once you have uploaded a plugin to our WordPress plugin directory
