Academic Projects
Design of Unmanned Surveillance using Radio Controlled Boat (Nov 2008 - March 2009)
The prototype model was fabricated using a 3.0cc IC engine. The body of the boat was designed using Malaysian
wood. Unmanned surveillance was achieved by mounting infra-red cameras and sensors in the boat. The boat
was controlled using servomotors, which are controlled by radio frequency remote control.
Design and fabrication of Core Making Machine: (Jan 2010 - April 2010)
A semi-automatic machine which makes core pattern based on the core box placed on the machine. The aim of
this project is to design and fabricate a semi-automatic machine which uses simple mechanisms for performing
the basic operations thereby producing cores in very short time.
