Enterprise Adoption of Tablets Scaling
Customer facing applications driving adoption of new form factor

   Enterprise adoption is expected to be higher than originally anticipated.
    o 1/3 of organizations in the US are currently supporting or plan to support tablets.
    o Driving opportunities for application, virtualization, and device management software
        vendors.

   A growing set of powerful third-party business applications and the ability to
    create customized applications for business is creating new, powerful use cases.
   Enterprises are clearly mindful of – and averse to – supporting another node on
    their networks and subsidizing / supporting an additional data plan.
    o The coupling of smartphones and tablets – many of the recent OS upgrades include
        wireless tethering – will increasingly become the norm.

   The tablet is not positioned – nor should it be confused – as a notebook/PC
    replacement.
    o Some PC cannibalization is expected to occur.
    o Tablet market is expected to erode the notebook market
