AN OVERVIEW ON INDIA'S MOST VALUABLE BRANDS

TATA GROUP
Tata Group is once again India's most valuable brand with its brand value up by
37 per cent to US$19.6 billion. The brand has recorded fastest growth than any
other brand on the brand finance 2019 ranking.
The Group has diversified itself across IT services, steel, auto, power and
chemicals and continues to remain a pioneering force to be reckoned with.
LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA (LIC)
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest insurance provider in
India. LIC has witnessed an appreciation of 22.8 per cent in brand value since
2018, making it the second most valuable brand in India. As per brand finance
2019 report, LIC has gained 3 spots in the list since last year.

INFOSYS
Infosys is an Indian multinational corporation which provides business consulting,
outsourcing services and Information Technology. It has its headquarters in
Bangalore. Infosys has a brand value of $6,501 million as per the brand finance
2019 report. Since 2018, Infosys has registered a 7.7 per cent increase in brand
value securing its third-place in the list of top most valuable brand.
STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI)
The State Bank of India (SBI) is India's largest public sector bank and financial
services conglomerate. Headquartered in Mumbai, SBI has recorded 34.4 per
cent increase in its brand value since last year. SBI has gained two spots on the
most valuable Indian brand 2019 list settling on the fourth position.
MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA
Mahindra & Mahindra is an Indian multinational car manufacturer headquartered
in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Mahindra Group is going from strength to strength with
its brand rising 35 per cent to $5,241 million in 2019. It has sealed its position in
the top 5 for the first time this year.

HDFC BANK LIMITED
HDFC Bank Limited is an Indian banking and financial services company. HDFC
has seen an increase of 19 per cent in brand value of, grabbing the sixth position
in the list of top 10 most valuable brands.
AIRTEL
Airtel which was second in the list in 2018 has dropped to seventh place in 2019
rankings. Airtel which was once the leader in Indian telecom industry has shown
steep erosion in brand value of $ 1,871 million or 28.1 per cent since 2018.
HCL TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED
HCL Technologies Limited is an IT-services and consulting MNC. It's
headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. HCL has recorded a growth of 1.7 per
cent in brand value and is at the eighth position in the brand finance list.
RELIANCEINDUSTRIESLIMITED
Reliance Industries Limited is a Fortune 500 company and the largest private
sector corporation in India.

RIL operations span from the exploration and production of oil and gas to the
manufacture of petroleum products, polyester products, polyester intermediates,
plastics, polymer intermediates, chemicals, synthetic textiles and fabrics. Its
telecom brand Jio is also the strongest brand in 2019 as per a brand finance
report.
WIPRO
The brand value of Wipro has increased at a rate of 25 per cent since last year
helping the IT giant gain three places since 2018 and secure the tenth place in
the list.

The brand has recorded fastest growth than any other brand on the brand finance 2019 ranking. The Group has diversified itself across IT services, steel, auto, power and chemicals and continues to remain a pioneering force to be reckoned with. LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA (LIC) Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest insurance provider in India. LIC has witnessed an appreciation of 22.8 per cent in brand value since 2018, making it the second most valuable brand in India. As per brand finance 2019 report, LIC has gained 3 spots in the list since last year.

Infosys has a brand value of $6,501 million as per the brand finance 2019 report. Since 2018, Infosys has registered a 7.7 per cent increase in brand value securing its third-place in the list of top most valuable brand. STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) The State Bank of India (SBI) is India's largest public sector bank and financial services conglomerate. Headquartered in Mumbai, SBI has recorded 34.4 per cent increase in its brand value since last year. SBI has gained two spots on the most valuable Indian brand 2019 list settling on the fourth position. MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA Mahindra & Mahindra is an Indian multinational car manufacturer headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Mahindra Group is going from strength to strength with its brand rising 35 per cent to $5,241 million in 2019. It has sealed its position in the top 5 for the first time this year.

HDFC has seen an increase of 19 per cent in brand value of, grabbing the sixth position in the list of top 10 most valuable brands. AIRTEL Airtel which was second in the list in 2018 has dropped to seventh place in 2019 rankings. Airtel which was once the leader in Indian telecom industry has shown steep erosion in brand value of $ 1,871 million or 28.1 per cent since 2018. HCL TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED HCL Technologies Limited is an IT-services and consulting MNC. It's headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. HCL has recorded a growth of 1.7 per cent in brand value and is at the eighth position in the brand finance list. RELIANCEINDUSTRIESLIMITED Reliance Industries Limited is a Fortune 500 company and the largest private sector corporation in India.

Its telecom brand Jio is also the strongest brand in 2019 as per a brand finance report. WIPRO The brand value of Wipro has increased at a rate of 25 per cent since last year helping the IT giant gain three places since 2018 and secure the tenth place in the list.
