Lets start with Usability
Usability is the extent to which a system, product or service
can be used by specified users
to achieve specified goals
with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction
in a specified context of use.
ISO 9241-210:2010
Ergonomics of human-system interaction — Part 210: Human-centred design for interactive systems
Effectiveness: The accuracy and completeness with which users achieve
specified goals.
Efficiency: The resources used in relation to the results achieved. (Time,
steps)
Satisfaction: Positive attitudes, emotions and/or comfort resulting from
use of a system, product or service.
Usability: The big 3 dimensions

Lets start with Usability Usability is the extent to which a system, product or service can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of use. ISO 9241-210:2010 Ergonomics of human-system interaction — Part 210: Human-centred design for interactive systems
  • 5. Effectiveness: The accuracy and completeness with which users achieve specified goals. Efficiency: The resources used in relation to the results achieved. (Time, steps) Satisfaction: Positive attitudes, emotions and/or comfort resulting from use of a system, product or service. Usability: The big 3 dimensions

Discover the Context of use through research Design the Solution Requirements for the solution User Needs – identified by analysing research data Who are users & their tasks, environment and systems / technology used to perform tasks ?
