characteristics that define how
they’re viewed historically
Millennials are no different
Millennials are sometimes described as:
MULTITASKERS
TECHNOLOGY-OBSESSED
ANXIOUS
ENTITLED
But they are also…
CONNECTED
VOCAL
DRIVEN
DETERMINED
HARD-WORKING
TRANSPARENT
COLLABORATIVE
Each generation has a slew of
labels slapped on them, but what it
comes down to is recognizing that
each generation is unique and
brings different skills to the table.
Accurate or not, Millennials have a set of
characteristics associated with their generation
that can be viewed as positive or negative –
it is up to your company to decide which way
to spin it.
And it is critical for employers to
understand the characteristics of
Millennials in order to find ways to
attract and retain them

increase employee’s
productivity
