2. CHC43015 - Certificate IV in Ageing Support
This qualification prepares you for the role of support workers
who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged
services.
Qualified aged care staff take greater responsibility for caring
within centre guidelines. You support and provide quality
services through the development, facilitation and review of
individualised service planning and delivery.
4. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no academic prerequisites for the CHC43015
Certificate IV in Ageing Support. If you have relevant life
and work experience, you can do the course. You need
reasonable English language, literacy and numeracy to
successfully do the course.
You must be able to travel and complete your work
placement. The Police Clearance Certificate is needed to
do your work placement.
5. MODE OF DELIVERY
This course is delivered via a combination of theory and
practice, at our Sydney campus.
It comprises of THREE terms of study (27 weeks), 2 days
a week; followed by 120 hours of work placement in
your fourth term, to see you through the completion of
the course.
6. FEE STRUCTURE
• United Colleges offers its students a flexible fee payment
structure, dependant on the course. The Certificate IV in
Ageing Support requires a $700 deposit, and subsequent
termly payments once enrolled.
• Student must supply their own clothes and transport.
Extra textbooks and replacement materials are extra.
