1. When we talk about Veracruz Mexico we usually think of dances, landscapes, scents, tastes and beautiful songs. But what about the magic? Where is the magic?

2. There are many magic places in Veracruz but there is no place like the best. I’m talking about the Tuxtecan Region.

3. The Tuxtecan region is integrated for three beautiful cities, Santiago Tuxtla city, San Andres Tuxtla city and of course Catemaco city.

4. All the regions have exuberant vegetation and nice tropical weather, this is the magic of region .

5. Now I’ll talk about Santiago Tuxtla city. This is a quiet city with a colonial downtown, however it has modern suburbs and a big river called Tepango crosses the city, visitor can find the famous Castellanos Hotel and a museum where many prehispanic pieces are exhibited, some of the most important are the olmecan heads and a statue called “the black man”.

6. The story of the black man is really interesting because some people say it has magic powers. When someone touches its forehead, that person might have supernatural experiences.
