All the activities are designed and conducted in order 
to help the kids in developing their four skills 
in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

If you are Mandarin native speaker, you are 
most welcome to be our volunteer parents. 
Please contact the teacher by email.
Assessment 
Observation is the most important means 
of assessment 
Assessment will be done in terms of the 
development of Listening/Speaking and 
Reading skills through such activities as: role 
play, conversation, reading simple picture 
book with sentence patterns, etc.
Parents’ support 
Listen to your kid singing songs and saying rhymes at home. 
Encourage your kid to share what he/she has learnt in class. 
Visit the blog for song lyrics, music and learning progress. 
Contact the teacher for any concerns you may have

  • 15. In-class Shared Reading The purposes are: • to create a Chinese reading environment; • to develop a reading habit and to enhance the interest of reading • to help develop language sense.   • 16. Center Time All the activities are designed and conducted in order to help the kids in developing their four skills in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
  • 18. Parents’ Volunteers If you are Mandarin native speaker, you are most welcome to be our volunteer parents. Please contact the teacher by email.
  • 19. Assessment Observation is the most important means of assessment Assessment will be done in terms of the development of Listening/Speaking and Reading skills through such activities as: role play, conversation, reading simple picture book with sentence patterns, etc.
  • 20. Parents’ support Listen to your kid singing songs and saying rhymes at home. Encourage your kid to share what he/she has learnt in class. Visit the blog for song lyrics, music and learning progress. Contact the teacher for any concerns you may have
