Secondary School for a full day
program.
They will be led by current Y7
students on a campus tour and
attend a variety of typical

7. Year 7 Transition:
On the last Friday before school re-opens (24th August), the school
organizes an Orientation Day for all Y7 students.
Unlike the first visit, they will explore the campus by themselves,
completing a scavenger hunt. They will, of course, experience the
hospitality of all Secondary staff.

9. Year 7 Camp
All Y7 students go on camp before the Mid-Term Break (October) each year.
As an integral part of a CIS education, Y7 camp is designed to help students:
make friends and develop interpersonal skills,
develop problem solving skills,
increase their bonding with teachers,
develop social and environmental responsibilities, and
learn to be independent.

the newcomer in various ways,

In the Secondary school, we maintain close contact with parents in
many ways. Moongate is a web based communication centre for
the school community.
Email is another channel for communication between teachers and
the parents.
The student diary is also a key communication link between the
homeroom teacher and parent.
