6. Some Interesting Stories about St Francis 1: Did you know St Francis has made many miracles. He has risen 10 from the dead and he is known as the “Apostle of the Indies,” and the “Apostle of Japan.” In ten years St Francis has been on he’s missionary life helping others around the world, spreading the Catholic Faith from Goa (Portuguese territory in western India), over South India, Ceylon, Bengal, Cape Comorin, the Moluccas, Spice Islands, Malacca, and through the China Sea to Japan where he died alone, except for one companion, a Chinese youth named Antiry, on the Japanese island of Sancian, waiting for a ship to China. 2:This is not a story, it is a miracle of what St Francis did. When he got to Sri Lanka, he found himself in a room full of skeptics ( people who do not have a religion or not catholic). He prayed to God that the skeptics would listen to open his message. Then St Francis turned to two men in the room and told them to bring a corpse who had been buried in the day before right next to the church's Francis knelt and prayed the ordered the dead person to rise and the person was brought back to life
7. Some Interesting Stories about St Francis 2 Another Miracle that St Francis made was at Malacca. He worked a miracle for someone who had been buried for several days. When Francis was away from the town, the daughter of a recently baptized woman died. The mother had saw Francis everywhere while the girl was still ill. When this parent learned that Francis had returned, she had lots of faith on Francis, whom she was convinced could have healed her daughter as he had cured and revived people could just as easily raise the girl from the dead.
8. My understanding of St Francis I honestly know that St Francis was a very important person with all of his miracles from God. I am proud to be a student of St Francis Xavier because he is a fine role model as well as many others.
