Introduction to the corporate presentation based on the starting point/point of discussion with the customer
Hello, my name is ... And I am a ... at Trivadis.
Before we start with the Trivadis presentation, let’s talk for a moment about what is on all of our minds ...
We are an independent, profitable company with more than 650 employees and generated sales of roughly CHF 111 million in the last financial year. Regional proximity to our customers is extremely important to us. We achieve this with 16 locations in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark and Bucharest. We carried out over 1900 customer projects successfully in the past financial year. In addition to this large number of projects, we supported our customers in more than 250 Service Level Agreements. The foundation for sustainable technological excellence lies in our research and development budget. Each year, we invest roughly CHF 5 million in analysing and evaluating new technologies and in developing our methods and products.
We don’t want to change your company or your business. We want to help you change your business. We support you in digitalising your processes and getting your business fit for the digital age. You know your industry; you know how to conduct business successfully in your markets. We help you stay in the market and to tap new digital markets. To do so, we use methods we have developed in the architecture and implementation of complex system environments, for example, or in the development of sophisticated software or BI solutions with our own products such as the comprehensive generation of a data warehouse with our product biGenius. The basis of our methods and products lies in the large number of successful projects and also on the leading quality in the key technologies – Oracle and Microsoft an Open Source. The awards we regularly receive from Microsoft and Oracle, such as Microsoft Partner of the Year and the Oracle Excellence Award, are evidence for this.
Key Point: Tell the story of how BI has evolved over the past 10 years and highlight the key challenges IT faces with BI tools and deployment today.
Talking Points:
If you think about the evolution of BI over the past 10 years, it started out fairly simply with IT primarily aiming to (click)
Consolidate and connect to existing data sources
Stage that data for reporting and analysis(click)
And then provision it out via reports, dashboards or cubes to users (click)
However, today the line between producers and consumers is being blurred, end users in addition to the IT are creating BI content; today users expect to be able to do their own analysis and create their own reports. The two most common ways for end users to do this has been to use Excel spreadsheets and a wide array of specialized tools for analysis and reporting. (click)
In creating their own BI solutions, end users have effectively found ways to get data directly from various data sources and by-passed the formal IT solutions, making it challenging for IT to control, monitor and manage these BI solutions being used within organizations. (click)
Transition:
So how do you balance the need for end users to have agility and access to information to building BI solutions while continuing to maintain control and governance of the data?
Digitalization is changing business as much as the steam engine and electricity once did. Only faster. Established major players are disappearing from the market because they underestimated the dynamics of this change, while new players are storming the market. Self-driving cars are a reality only because enormous amounts of data can be broken down and analysed into useful information. And it can be done in a fraction of a second, literally. Networking is taking hold in almost all areas of business, since the motto is: What can be digitalised will be digitalised. The energy industry is an example for these changes. We no longer have enormous monolithic units that are centrally controlled. Instead, we have individual, flexible, quick units that can be networked harmonically to form one new major unit. And in future, we will wear all our information on our wrist and our watches will understand spoken language. What’s behind these developments?
The answer is: It’s all about data. Data is the fuel for these developments. We are able to generate new information nearly in real time from previously unfathomable amounts of data. This is upending old business processes and methods and forms the basis for new business models. Only companies that go along with this will be able to keep up in the market in the long term.
How do we handle this then? And who even can handle this?
That’s where Trivadis comes in. What role does our company play in this development? A significant one ...

How is Trivadis positioned for this mission and these challenges in the digital age?
Our corporate values are also a significant factor in carrying out the digital transformation of our customers successfully. It is, after all, these values that embody the spirit of Trivadis. Everything at Trivadis is based on this.
READ VALUES ...
When we think about the future and digitalization, we come to the conclusion time and again that the complexity is underestimated in almost every plan. Trivadis has made it its task to reduce this complexity for its customers.
Today’s IT has to take new issues into consideration. The questions may sound simple, but they bring complex challenges with them.
Read or hint at some questions.
There is no one right answer to our customers’ questions. Every situation, every customer request is different, after all. But we do have one promise that we stand by. READ text from speech bubble!
Read slide
Let’s talk now about one of the most important questions: What benefits do we offer? What do you get out of working with or partnering with Trivadis? I’ll tell you now: Lots.
Read intro text. Tease red squares briefly only: “We provide solutions for current market issued (such as Cloud Computing etc), we are the right contact for classic IT tasks (such as modernization). We work with agile methods. And beside this we have developed our own products to make Microsoft and Oracle technologies more efficient to use (not on the slide)
Read intro text. Tease red squares briefly only: “We provide solutions for current market issued (such as Digital Business Transformation), we are the right contact for classic IT tasks (such as modernization). We carry out our services in clearly structured and strategic business areas (such as Application Development). And we have developed our own products to make Microsoft and Oracle technologies more efficient to use.
Trivadis has technological expertise in traditional IT with emphasis in BI, Application and Infrastructure.
And Trivadis also knows how existing IT landscapes can be adapted and used for digital business. It doesn’t always have to be about introducing new systems and solutions. Existing infrastructures can also be made fit for new challenges. Key issues in digital business are, in our view, characterized by Big Data, IoT and Device Mesh or mobile solutions. The greatest challenges lie here.
We are able to accompany this important transformation process in a comprehensive manner. With our experience, methods and tools in modernization and integration, we provide the often missing link and components for transformation. In doing so, we see that solutions in applications or data warehouses are needed, for example. The interface for the new IT thus already exists. We make it usable.
We do so by providing comprehensive services. That means we are at our customers’ side. With technological and economically plannable services. We also handle the transfer of knowledge with our training sessions and get our customers ready for the new challenges. And of course we also handle comprehensive security, which has become significantly more challenging than it was in the past.
All of this is available with Trivadis in the form of efficient and secure cloud computing.
This entire diagram shows clearly that our services are comprehensive. This means that we take significant burden off our customers’ shoulders and thus reduce complexity. Most of our customers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises – also known as SMEs – are no longer able to handle these challenges on their own. Should they forgo the opportunities and competitive advantages of digital business because of this? We believe that we have created an excellent structure to pave the way to digital business and the digital transformation for SMEs as well. We can therefore rightfully say: Trivadis makes IT easier.
Everything always works perfectly in theory and in PowerPoint. But how do things look in practice? Can Trivadis keep its promises? What are some examples of success?
We can translate and implement the business needs in any industry into IT. We speak our customers’ language, understand their needs and know the data. That allows us to develop solutions for our customers efficiently and in a targeted manner.
Explain the examples in short sentences to prove that Trivadis has already developed solutions for these market issues.
Digital Business Transformation: Staff Finder (Switzerland, new business model, web-based) use of name and logo requested
Cloud Computing: ODA GS Argau (Switzerland, transformation of classic IT to entirely cloud-based) pull sentence from ref case, use of name and logo allowed
Internet of Things: IWB (Switzerland, complete IoT solution) pull sentence from ref case, use of name and logo allowed upon approval of reference story
Over 800 customers in Switzerland, Germany and Austria in a variety of industries trust in our services and confirm the success of our work. We are happy to speak in more detail about projects we have carried out in your industry or with similar tasks after this presentation.
In summary, I’d like to list the most important reasons why you should trust Trivadis:
We make sure that your company uses the raw material data efficiently for growth and new business areas.
We have award-winning technological expertise and are among the leading companies in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Denmark.
