•Project start-up a little too slow leading to (a small) decommitment of funds
•Poor initial involvement of administrative people
•Slow build up of full understanding of CBC programmerules and guidelines in the partnership
•Poor involvement of some Team Managers
•Too high administrative burden on some researchers
•Way too high global administrative burden
9. What should / can / must be improved ?
Simplifications / Improvements
•Even better initial planning to speed up project startup
•Better planning of public tenders (go for “integrated ones”…)
•Give more responsibility to young researchers (they should be the real driving force…)
•Shorten the lag time between Programme Calls and project approval
•Massive reduction of burocracy with full use of ICT
•Simplify budget structure
•Simplify change request procedures
