2. FIRST STEPS⊠Cluttered, no order and, even worse, inside a stained pine cube⊠Had to get everything out and meanwhile put inside a coolerdor with the humidification devices (Hydra unit).
3. HERE WE GO⊠I started by sanding the inside walls to prepare it for the glue and install the ÂŒâ Spanish Cedar (cedro odorata) lining.
4. LITTLE BY LITTLE⊠Since Iâm defintely not the sharpest woodworker around, slowly I get a tad more confident when making the cuts and begin assembling the panels.
5. LOOKING GOODA..! One of the two perforated shelves to allow the flow of moist air withinâŠ
6. ALMOST THERE, MAâ⊠I laid the shelves over pine blocks serving as supports⊠Testing the lamp before laying the final wiring. The Hydra unit is also plugged to an outlet outside the cubeâŠ
7. Finishing touches⊠For a better seal, I used a piece of cedar on the door⊠I slightly soaked all the surfaces having contact with the sticks with distilled water and waited an agonizing 24 hoursâŠ
8. Drum roll please⊠I still canât believe I did this⊠my smokes are certainly happy that I completed the project⊠This is how it looked this morning, right after loading the cigars
