The work

risk. The open source CMS MODx was
configured and utilised.

The brief
To create a tool which allow users to
upload an image, and via some mechanic,
determine whether the image is of someone
that is trustworthy or untrustworthy.
The work
We started with sketches of all the elements
of the applet. These were then created
digitally and then integrated to the applet
using JQuery.
The results
The applet was delivered in ten days and
received over 2000 uploads just one week
after launch.

Institute of Brewing
and Distilling.

The brief
To design and develop a brand new website
to facilitate communication and interaction
with IBD members worldwide. The website
was also required to house large amounts of
educational content relating to the Institutes
examinations.
The work
Two distinct websites were built to
accommodate not only the more traditional
IBD members but also the younger ‘up and
coming’ members via the Beer Academy
network. An online database solution was
integrated into the site for seamless user
registration and contact management.
The results
A striking but functional site that appeals
to all audiences. Administration has been
cut as members can now perform many
critical updates through the site, such as
booking tickets, updating contact details
and renewing subscriptions.

Power Corporation.

The brief
Power is Europe’s number one independent
producer and distributor of high quality,
award-winning series, mini-series and
movies for television. Our brief was to
upgrade Power’s website and look at
streamlining its workflows and processes
particularly around client interaction.
The work
We created a new Power website and
introduced a bespoke client extranet to
support marketing material and downloads.
The results
The delivery of an ‘on-brand’ website that
links seemlessly into the extranet. This
enables direct client access to marketing
and distribution information, removing a tier
of in-house intervention.

The brief
To create a new, powerful, engaging and
interactive ‘fundraising’ website that reflects
WJR as a credible, trusted, passionate and
knowledgeable organisation.
The work
A clean, fresh website that requires little
day to day maintenance but still appears
dynamic and active. We worked hard to
distinguish between main ‘calls to action’
as well as immediately conveying ‘what
WJR does’.
The results
A double award-winning website that
is actively maintained by one part-time,
administrator. After the recent Tsunami WJR
was able to create and market an online
donations appeal without any technical
assistance and within hours of an
emergency being declared.

The brief
Through HET’s government funded ‘Lessons
from Auschwitz’ programme, the organisation
sends thousands of students each year to visit
Auschwitz. HET required a fully computerised
online system to support the application, selection
and communication processes involving teachers,
puplis and parents.
The work
We created a secure online application and
management system, which enabled students
from schools and colleges in the UK to log in
and update insurance, medical and personal
details. We created a closed-user social network
portal enabling participants to express their
thoughts via videos, images and text.
The results
To date, over 3,500 participants across 1,700
educational establishments have actively
used the system. HET manage and process
applications, arrange and invite participants
to seminars and keep parents and schools
updated via email and SMS.

The brief
The US is a charity with over 30,000 members, 500
employees and over 60 locations. It was spending
significant amounts on its IT with little return on its
investment. We were asked to define and execute
a 5-year IT strategy covering personnel, processes,
hardware, software and third party suppliers.
The work
We undertook a full organisational technical audit,
defined a centralised database system, integrated
existing systems, constructed bespoke systems,
implemented fit-for-purpose processes and
procedures, and helped the organisation manage
internal change. We delivered bespoke web-enabled
membership and fundraising systems with full cash
office and reconciliation capabilities, a centralised
supplier payment system and a full suite of burial
and cemetery management applications.
The results
The IT budget was reduced by 40%, whilst the
processes and procedures set in place ensured
both security and business continuity. The bespoke
developments allowed all locations to access the
new ‘one-member, one record’ database.

To create a fresh, modern website that would not

The work
Our proprietary Content Management System
was the perfect solution for TA because of its
power, flexibility and speed of implementation.
This allowed for content upload to begin almost
immediately in the project cycle, and was a
critical requirement due to the limited timescales.
The results
The project was subject to very tight timescales
and our technology and experience offered
a low-risk approach which resulted in the
implementation of an extremely search engine-

Graff Diamonds.

The brief
Graff are luxury jewelers known for ‘The
most fabulous jewels in the world’. We were
introduced to Graff to help with the overall
modernization of all their internal database
systems.
The work
We analysed and documented the internal
business processes, produced a logical data
model and constructed a prototype system
for the business. We also reviewed and sourced
a supplier for SAP Business One solution and
during the process we helped Graff’s personnel
through the often extremely painful process of
change.
The results
Graff now have an improved understanding
of their IT infrastructure and the new
implemented systems will allow for greater
efficiency and the availability of enhanced
management information.
